Laser sensors

Optical distance meters are used for non-contact measurement of distance, thickness, width, length etc. The sensor sends an eye-safe laser beam to the object or a reflector. The distance is calculated by means of triangulation or time-of-flight principle depending on the model. Which of the sensors suites your measuring application depends on the required measuring distance, measuring accuracy and measuring frequency.
